She married George Henry Shaw (brother of Annie Maud Shaw6 who married Arthur Vollans) in the September quarter 1898, in the Rotherham district.
In the 1901 census she was living in 3 rooms at 41 Rockingham Road, Swinton. She was aged 25 and born at Brampton. Her husband, George H Shaw was aged 28, a coal miner and born at Rawmarsh. Their child was Fred, aged 6 months and born at Brampton.
